Engagements in 2022 and 2023 included: Wotan Das Rheingold (Cologne, Luzerne); Wotan Walküre and Wanderer Siegfried (Erl, Austria); Fra Melitone (Frankfurt); Leporello Don Giovanni (WNO); Redburn Billy Budd (Gelsenkirchen); Orest Elektra (Frankfurt); Don Pasquale (Saarbrücken); Fasolt Das Rheingold (ENO) and Balstrode Peter Grimes (ENO).
Recent concert appearances include Messiah (Royal Albert Hall, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Musikverein, Vienna), Gurnemanz Parsifal (Bochum) and Elijah (Giessen and Wetzlar).
Future engagements include: Wotan/Wanderer in the complete Ring cycle (Tiroler Festspiele, Erl); Wotan Die Walküre, conducted by Kent Nagano (Dresden, Lucerne); Wotan Das Rheingold (Dortmund).
Awards include: He was voted ‘Wales Singer of the Year’ in 2018 for his performance as Šiškov From the House of the Dead in Cardiff. He won first prize in the 2005 Rome International Oratorio competition.
