Our 2019 Harewood Artists Match Campaign raises over £198,000
2nd December 2019 in News
We are delighted to announce that this year’s Match Campaign has raised a total of £198, 677 to support our ENO Harewood Artists programme.
Thanks to our generous Matchers: Ann Orton, The Queen Anne’s Gate Foundation, Ivor Samuels & Gerry Wakelin, Mr Jake Shafran & Mrs Hélène Marie Shafran, Mike Shipley & Philip Rudge and one anonymous donor, there was a fund of £101,000 to match and double all donations made between 18 November and 1 December.
The campaign received over 230 donations and we are very grateful to everyone who gave. Your contribution to the programme, which is funded entirely through donations, will help us to nurture and develop the next generation of opera talent at ENO.
ENO Head of Casting, Michelle Williams said:
“On behalf of our ENO Harewood Artists, Jane Robinson, Head of Vocal Training & Development and the whole team at ENO, I would like to thank you for supporting our recent Harewood Artist Match Campaign. We very much appreciate your support.
Fund raised will directly support our flagship talent development programme at ENO. As you know, we have 16 incredibly talented Harewood Artists who will receive bespoke coaching and training while covering and performing mainstage roles with us. We are so proud and excited to see their careers develop and flourish, and trust that you are too, knowing the part you play making it all possible.
All 10 productions in our 2019/20 Season boast the talents of our Harewoods so there is ample opportunity to see and hear the impact of your contribution.”
