Imogen Knight
Movement Director
Imogen Knight is a choreographer, director, movement director, somantic therapist and intimacy co-coordinator based in London. She works across multiple disciplines: theatre, film, classical and electronic music, television, performance and visual art, photography, and opera.
Career Highlights
She has directed work with orchestras and musicians from the London Sinfonietta, Brass and Mandolin Orchestra of Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, Southbank Sinfonia, Royal College of Music and Royal Northern College of Music. She collaborates with musicians and composers such as Matthew Herbert, Keeley Forsyth, Alicia Jane Turner and the NYX electronic drone choir.
Forthcoming work in 2023 includes co-directing The Horse(Barbican), composed by Matthew Herbert and co-directing Gazelle Twin and NYX electronic drone choir in Pastoral also at the Barbican. She was awarded the Choreography for Children 2012 commission by Sadler’s Wells, Company of Angels and The Place. OMG! premiered at The Place and Sadler’s Wells in February 2013.
