“At ENO we will remember Peter as one of our great supporters over the decades. He had already bought his tickets for every production of our imminent season and was very excited by the programme. Peter was the ultimate professional; calm, considered, impeccably-mannered and I speak both personally and professionally when I say his innate wit and charm will be greatly missed.

Peter was a highly successful West End producer whilst at the same time, for 25 years, he was the CEO of the Theatre Royal, Norwich. We are all looking forward enormously to his production of ‘Spirited Away’ which opens next summer.

Peter slipped away on Monday 4^th September and the box office opened on Tuesday 5^th September.  It is already clear that ‘Spirited Away’ will be one of the great successes of 2024.  The production will be his legacy.”
