The Magic Flute:

The ENO are delighted by the news that Soraya Mafi is expecting her second child in January 2024. She has therefore withdrawn from the role of Pamina in The Magic Flute this season and we wish her all the best. We are pleased to announce that Sarah Tynan will be returning to ENO to make her role debut as Pamina.

Duke Bluebeard’s Castle:

We are also delighted that Natalya Romaniw is expecting a baby later in the autumn. She has therefore withdrawn from the role of Judith in Duke Bluebeard’s Castle this season and we also wish her all the best. We are delighted to announce that Allison Cook will be stepping into the role. 

The ENO will be performing this production in Hungarian, the original language, with English surtitles displayed above the stage.
