Opera for Babies shows are filled with excitement, laughter, and a sense of mystery. A wonderful way for children and their grown-ups to connect and have a truly magical experience.
Overview
Th story is of two friends dancing and playing. One of them trips and falls. Their friend rushes over to help, blowing on the sore spot to ease the pain. As soon as the first friend is feeling better, the other one falls and hurts themselves! With music by Eivind Buene and an original aria by Henry Purcell.
Singers and Creators
Babyopera is a company that creates opera- and music-theatre performances for children. It is led by director, costume designer and scenographer Christina Lindgren. A team of artists joins the collaborative team for each new production.

The harmony of sounds and movements stimulated the children’s imagination, hearing and vision. I came with my 6-month old baby and she could concentrate well. It was great to be able to touch and explore the scenography in the end of the performance.
