Sir Vernon Ellis

President

Sir Vernon Ellis is former Chair of the British Council. Until 2008 he worked for Accenture as International Chairman. He has long had a passion for the arts, particularly music, and is a committed philanthropist; hosting regular musical events to support musicians.

He was Chairman of English National Opera (2006-2010), before becoming President.

Sir Vernon was awarded a Knighthood in the New Year Honours, 2011 for services to music.
