English National Opera’s award-winning Chorus and Orchestra are critically acclaimed ensembles, nationally and internationally renowned for their excellence and versatility. They are seasonally engaged on a permanent 7-month contract with work outside this period contracted on a freelance basis.
The Recordings and Projects Consultant is a new post in the ENO’s Music Department. The postholder will be instrumental in cultivating and securing work for our musical forces, with a particular focus on the out of season period. The key purpose of the role is to build a strong network of commercial partnerships, developing opportunities for external engagements for the ENO Orchestra and Chorus throughout the year, both in the UK and internationally. We are looking for an experienced, well-connected and motivated individual who will work proactively with us to secure future opportunities.
As the Recordings and Projects Consultant you will develop and implement a targeted strategy for the cultivation of external engagements for the ENO Chorus and Orchestra, undertaking a comprehensive assessment of current market opportunities and identifying areas for commercial growth, nationally and internationally.
