Rosie Lomas

Rosie Lomas was born in the North of England. She trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Kate Paterson.

Career Highlights
Notable engagements elsewhere: Oberto Alcina, First Spirit The Magic Flute, Valetto L’incoronazione di Poppea (Longborough Festival Opera); title role Vixen (Silent Opera); Flora The Turn of the Screw (Festival di Spoleto, Beethoven Festival, Warsaw, and Opera Holland Park); First Witch/Second Woman Dido and Aeneas (Ad Parnassum, in London and on tour in Italy and Germany). Recent concert appearances include excerpts from Handel’s Solomon with countertenor James Bowman in a celebratory concert in aid of Coram, and Haydn’s ‘Nelson’ Mass with the Choir of the Twenty-first Century at Christ Church, Spitalfields. In 2015 she was a Britten–Pears Young Artist. She also runs Literary Music, a group of actors and musicians who perform literary-themed concerts throughout the UK.
