The 2017 Olivier Award nominees were announced yesterday afternoon (6 March) via Facebook Live, hosted by Denise Gough and Matt Henry.
English National Opera were delighted to receive six nominations across four different categories.

• Akhnaten and Lulu for ‘Best New Opera Production’
• Stuart Skelton (for his performance in Tristan and Isolde) and Mark Wigglesworth (for his conducting of Don Giovanni and Lulu) for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Opera’
• Sunset Boulevard in ‘Best Musical Revival’
• Glenn Close (for her performance in Sunset Boulevard) for ‘Best Actress in a Musical’

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 9 April
