Assistant Company Manager

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, pro rata
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (August 2025-February 2026)
Location: London Coliseum & other locations as required

 

We are currently looking to employ an organised, friendly, and proactive Assistant Company Manager to join ENO’s Artistic Team on a fixed term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity if you want to gain practical experience in a busy opera company and progress your career in the performing arts.

Working with the Company Manager, you will act as a key point of contact for Guest Artists and Creative Teams. The role assists with the meticulous planning of all rehearsals and performances and you will be central to the day to day running of the Artistic Department and ENO as a whole. As part of a collaborative team, you will be working in a dynamic environment where flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential.

Requirements:

  • Interest and knowledge in production & delivery of opera / performing arts
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Good IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Outlook
  • Great initiative and good problem-solving skills whilst working under pressure
  • A team player with a calm, professional manner, and pro-active attitude
  • Availability to work evenings & weekends
