Location: London Coliseum (attendance at other sites in London), Greater Manchester

ENO is pleased to be working alongside leading recruitment specialists, AEM International, to appoint our Music Director.

ENO’s Music Director is a key member of the Company’s Executive Team, reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer. Together with the Artistic Director, the post is one of two lead artists at the heart of the Company, jointly responsible for shaping and driving the artistic and musical life of ENO.

The role is responsible for the overall musical leadership of the Company, ensuring that its musical direction and output are wholly aligned with the Company’s vision and mission. The postholder will be a passionate advocate for opera and ENO’s commitment to making the highest quality music for and with the widest possible audience, providing visionary leadership for ENO’s award-winning Orchestra and Chorus fostering the development of musical talent (both emerging and established) on behalf of the Company.
