Anthony Minghella

Anthony Minghella  died in 2008. His films include Truly Madly Deeply, The English Patient, The Talented Mr Ripley, Cold Mountain, Breaking and Entering and The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. His films received 24 Academy Award nominations and 32 British Academy nominations. He was appointed a CBE in 2001 and was Chairman of the British Film Institute from 2003.
