He has staged drama at the Edinburgh Festival, Birmingham Repertory, Festival Mérida, Residenztheater Munich, Nationaltheater Mannheim, Staatstheater Stuttgart, National Theatre Oslo and Bergen Festival. Since 2017 he has been Artistic Director at the Teatro Arriaga, Bilbao.
