Either Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde or Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Best ENO moment?
Karen Cargill as Brangäne standing in the pit to sing her lines during the love scene from Tristan and Isolde. That sound!

How did you start?
Started playing violin when I was 5 in a small country town in Victoria, Australia. Was lucky that there just happened to be a great violin teacher who had just moved to the area.

Passion outside of opera?
Spending time with my two young boys.
