Clare Eggington read music at the University of Wales, Cardiff, and then received a scholarship to continue her training with a postgraduate Vocal Diploma at Trinity College of Music, London.

Previously for ENO: Maid Powder Her Face, Miss Schlesen Satyagraha; covered Queen of Night Magic Flute, Adele Die Fledermaus, and sang for ENO Opera Squad and Know the Show.

She was in the principal cast of The Opera Show, which went on a 6-month tour to America, Scandinavia, Barcelona, Lisbon and Milan. She has sung on the soundtracks of several films, including Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and Sponge Bob Square Pants – The Movie.

Roles performed include Josephine HMS Pinafore, Mabel The Pirates of Penzance, Adina The Elixir of Love and Queen of Night.
