David Alden has worked with opera companies worldwide, including Scottish Opera, WNO, Vienna Volksoper, Netherlands Opera, Komische Oper, Frankfurt, Paris, Vlaamse Opera, Graz, San Francisco, Chicago Lyric, Metropolitan Opera, New York, Houston Grand, Dallas, Santa Fe and Spoleto Festival. He received the Bavarian Theatre Prize for Individual Artistic Achievement to mark his close association with the Bavarian State Opera, Munich.
