Dimitri Pittas is a graduate of the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program and has appeared on the Met stage as Rodolfo La bohème, Macduff Macbeth, Nemorino L’elisir d’amore and Tamino Die Zauberflöte.

Career Highlights

Notable engagements include: Werther (Florida Grand Opera); Alfredo La traviata (Houston Grand Opera); Nemorino (Pittsburgh Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Bavarian State Opera); Rodolfo (Opéra de Paris, Oper Frankfurt); title role Don Carlo (Bolshoi Opera, Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse); Oronte I Lombardi (Hamburg State Opera). Past concert performances include Verdi’s Requiem (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra), Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 (Cincinnati Symphony, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra), Mozart’s Requiem (Lincoln Center Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra).

Upcoming engagements: role debut as Don José Carmen (WNO) and returns to Houston Grand Opera as Narraboth Salome, a role he also sings in concert with the Malmö Symphony.
