He has designed over fifty Broadway productions, is the recipient of two Tony awards (The Lion King, South Pacific) and thirteen Tony nominations.

Television/Film: recent projects include Smash seasons 1 and 2 (NBC Dreamworks); Oceans Eight (Warner Bros Pictures). He is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and a Professor of Lighting Design at Rutgers University.
