Gemma Payne
Movement Director
Gemma Payne is a Choreographer and Movement Director, in theatre, opera, television and film. She trained at The Royal Ballet Upper School and Central School of Ballet.

Career Highlights
Most recently Gemma has worked as associate movement director and choreographer at the Almeida Theatre for their productions of Ink and Albion . Subsequently, transferring their production of Ink (2017/18) to the West End as associate to Lynne Page. Her solo choreographic projects are under the name of Payne Productions.
Previous Associate Choreographer credits to Lynne Page: The Crown Season 2 ( Netflix, 2017) , Les Troyens (San Francisco Opera, 2015/Wiener Staatsoper, 2018), and a collaboration with GoGo Penguin Veils Barbican, 2015 and Sadler’s Wells Stage Latitude Music Festival, 2016.
Assistant Dance Coach credits: to Caroline Pope in Goodbye Christopher Robin (2016) for Margot Robbie & Domhnall Gleeson. Gemma was part of the choreographic creative team for Arthur Pita’s Run Mary Run duet for Royal Ballet star Natalia Osipova, 2016.
