Ian Jackson-French
Revival Lighting Designer
Ian Jackson-French has been Head of Lighting at ENO for several years, he has been involved with relighting many productions for the company, while enjoying a successful freelance career as a Lighting Designer/Director.
Previously for ENO: Gloriana, Rodelinda, Madame Butterfly, Duke Bluebeard’s Castle, and The Mikado.

Other credits at ENO and elsewhere include: Handel’s Ariodante (directed by David Alden, Bolshoi Theatre Moscow); Verdi’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah (BBC2/ENO, with Bernie Davis); Iolanthe, The Pearl Fishers, The Damnation of Faust (Antwerp and Ghent), Rodelinda (Bolshoi Theatre), Madam Butterfly (Vilnius, Perth), Bluebeard’s Castle (Mariinsky Theatre, St Petersburg), On the Town (Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris), and The Mikado.
Outside of ENO he works with many leading comedians for both television and live concerts, including BBC1’s Live at the Apollo, and Arena tours/DVDs for comedians such as Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans and Dara O’Briain.
