Kevin John Edusei is Chief Conductor of the Münchner Symphoniker. He has conducted widely across Europe, particularly in Germany and the Netherlands, dividing his time equally between the concert hall and opera house.

Notable engagements elsewhere: Peter Grimes, Salome, Bluebeard’s Castle, Tannhäuser, Kátya Kábanová, Mozart’s Da Ponte operas, Ariadne auf Naxos (Bern Opera House, as Chief Conductor); Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Cardillac (Semperoper Dresden); Die Zauberflöte (Volksoper Wien, Komische Oper Berlin); Don Giovanni (Komische Oper Berlin); in 2019/20 Season, Tosca (debut, Hannover State Opera).

Concert engagements include: appearances with the Rotterdam Philharmonic (European premiere of John Luther Adams’s Become Desert), Netherlands Radio Philharmonic, Deutsches Symphonie- Orchester Berlin, Bamberg Symphony, Philharmonia Orchestra and Colorado Symphony. In 2017 he made his BBC Proms debut with the Chineke! Orchestra, and in the same year conducted Nixon in China at the Concertgebouw’s Zaterdag Matinee.

Recordings: include CDs with the Bern Symphony Orchestra, Chineke! Orchestra and Tonkünstler Orchestra, and he is currently mid-way through a complete cycle of Schubert symphonies with the Münchner Symphoniker.
