Stefano De Luca
Dancer
Stefano De Luca is an Italian contemporary dancer. He began his dance career in 2004 at the age of seven. In 2019 he graduated in Dance and Choreography at Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance – SEAD in Salzburg (Austria) and also received a diploma in teaching ballet technique.
Currently for ENO: The Mask of Orpheus; Orphée.
Career Highlights
Winner of various prizes in national and international dance competitions he has also been part of the dance ensemble for the operas Aida by Giuseppe Verdi performed by the Wiener Philharmoniker directed by the orchestra Director Riccardo Muti and Alicina, by Georg Friedrich Händel, performed by Les Musiciens du Prince-Monaco, both operas included in the 2017 and 2019 program for the Salzburger Festspiele.
He studied with well-known international choreographers as Jose Agudo, Sadé and Kristina Alleyne, Julyen Hamilton, Yaghvali Falzari, Eléonore Valère Lachky, Milla Koistinen, Janyce Michellod, Lali Ayguade Ferro, as well as worked alongside opera singers of great international renown as Anna Netrebko, Roberto Tavgliavini, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Francesco Meli, Luca Salsi, Cecilia Bartoli, Philippe Jaroussky, Sandrine Piau and opera Choreographer Thomas Wilhelm.
