Stefanos Lazaridis
Set Designer
Stefanos Lazaridis designed over thirty productions for ENO, and was the master designer of ENO’s Italian Season in 2000, for which he was nominated for an Olivier Award. He died in 2010.
Previously for ENO: The Mikado, Doctor Faust, Hansel and Gretel and Lady Macbeth of Mtsenk.

Notable engagements elsewhere: The Greek Passion, Der Ring des Nibelungen (ROH), open-air productions of Der fliegende Holländer, Nabucco and Fidelio (Bregenz), Moïse et Pharaon (Pesaro), Rigoletto (Tel Aviv), The Turn of the Screw (La Monnaie), La fanciulla del West (La Scala, Zurich), Macbeth (Zurich), Faust, Katya Kabanova (Munich) and Lohengrin (Bayreuth), directed and designed Oedipus Rex/Bluebeard’s Castle, Maria Stuarda (Scottish Opera), Orphée et Eurydice (Australian Opera), Dimitriadis’s The Ark of Life (Athens) and Duran Duran’s 1993 US rock show.
