Stuart Jackson was a choral scholar at Christ Church, Oxford, before studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Ryland Davies.

Career Highlights
Stuart was a Jerwood Young Artist at Glyndebourne Festival Opera in 2013; during the 2013/14 Season he joined the Stuttgart Opera Studio where a highlight of his year there was singing Orphée in Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice. He is currently a Classical Opera Associate Artist with whom he has sung Osroa in J. C. Bach’s Adriano in Siria, Lucio Vero in Jommelli’s Il vologeso and, in recordings, the title role in Mozart’s Il sogno di Scipione and Soliman in Mozart’s Zaide. In concert, he has appeared with conductors including Thomas Dausgaard, Daniel Reuss, Paul McCreesh, Trevor Pinnock, Rinaldo Alessandrini and Christoph Poppen.
Recent and future opera highlights include: High Priest/Abner/Amalekite/Doeg Saul (Glyndebourne Festival debut); Alcesta in Cavalli’s Erismena (Aix-en-Provence Festival); Iro Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria (ROH at the Roundhouse). Later this season he will make his debuts at Garsington Opera (The Bartered Bride) and Opéra National du Rhin (Legrenzi’s La divisione del mondo).
