Susanna Tudor-Thomas studied at the Guildhall and the RSAMD. She made her operatic début aged seventeen singing Barbarina Le nozze di Figaro (WNO). She joined the ENO Chorus in 1994.

Previously for ENO: Narrator/Wild Goose Paul Bunyan, Miss Fedder Marnie, Mrs Van Tricasse Doctor Ox’s Experiment, Flora La traviata, Pitti-Sing, Second Lay Sister Sister Angelica, Mercedes Carmen, Second Bridesmaid/Village girl The Marriage of Figaro, Matriosha War and Peace, Second Lady The Magic Flute, Mary The Flying Dutchman, Mayor’s wife Jenůfa, Chambermaid The Makropulos Case (recorded by Chandos) and Old woman The Day After, as well as understudying many other roles.

Career Highlights

Notable engagements elsewhere: musical cruises with P&O; Hélène in Lili Boulanger’s Faust et Hélène (QEH and Edmonton, Canada); soloist with the 1,000 voices at RAH and a tour of Australia; Orlofsky Un ballo in maschera (Kentish Opera); L’enfant L’enfant et les sortilèges (Opera Zuid); Dorabella Così fan tutte (Longborough).
