Teresa Riveiro Böhm

Teresa Riveiro Böhm studied in Vienna, Cologne, Zurich and Moscow. She has worked with conductors including Manfred Honeck, Paavo Jä rvi, David Zinman, Martyn Brabbins, Thomas Dausgaard, Sian Edwards, Donald Runnicles, Baldur Brönimann and Antony Hermus. Last season she made her debut at Opera Australia/Sydney Opera House with The Magic Flute. Other highlights included debuts with Lucerne Opera, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, Recreation-Orchester at the Styriarte Festival Graz, Orquesta de Extremadura, and Orchestre de Picardie. She returned to Orchestre National de Metz, featured at the prestigious Palau de la Música Catalana with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Vallés, and led the NYO of Scotland in a programme that included the premiere of Andrea Tarrodi’s Concerto for piano trio and orchestra. Other recent highlights include debuts with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra; Don Pasquale (Irish National Opera); and concerts with BBCSSO. In recent seasons she has also
conducted L’Orchestre de Chambre de Genève, Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga, the Kremerata Baltica (at the Kronberg Academy Festival), Basel Chamber Orchestra, the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, L’Opéra Orchestre National Montpellier,and the Red Note Ensemble. This is her ENO debut.
