Featuring poet and spoken word artist Kieron Rennie.

Through his residency at the London Coliseum throughout 2022-23, Kieron will be creating a series of artistic responses to our opera season and work, through a variety of mediums including poetry and photography.
Kieron previously worked with the ENO Engage team on a specially commissioned performance piece based on young people’s experiences during lockdown for the ‘The Way I See It’, a digital exhibition in partnership with Google Arts & Culture and ACE in summer 2020.
Building on ‘The Way I See It’, the aim of the ENO Creative Residency programme is to invite artists working in disciplines outside the field of opera to bring a new, fresh take on the artform, inviting audiences to experience our building and stories through a different lens – and creating new connections with our work that are at times unexpected.
This programme will run throughout the ENO’s 2022/23 season, launching in August 22. Look out for Kieron’s poetry and spoken word throughout 2022/23 – online through our website and social media channels, and in print in our production programmes.
