Brindley Sherratt to be ENO’s Artist in Residence and Advisor to the Harewood Artists

We are delighted to announce that internationally acclaimed British bass Brindley Sherratt has come on board as ENO’s Artist in Residence and Advisor to the Harewood Artists. Brindley will be working closely with ENO’s thirteen Harewood Artists alongside ENO’s Head of Vocal Training and Development, Jane Robinson and consultant coach, Michael Pollock, as well as other industry professionals.
Brindley Sherratt has performed at ENO in many notable roles including Ramfis in Phelim McDermott’s Aida, Creon in Charpentier’s Medea, Pimen in Boris Godunov, Sarastro in The Magic Flute to name but a few. Brindley also has a wide international reputation and appears regularly with companies around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Hamburg and Vienna State Operas, Netherlands Opera and the Glyndebourne, Aix-en-Provence and Salzburg festivals.
The ENO Harewood Artists programme enables 13 exceptionally talented British and British-trained singers to perform with English National Opera while receiving specialist coaching, support and guidance for 2-3 years. Each Harewood Artist undertakes a programme of vocal and language training, is coached by experts in their repertoire and is fully supported through auditions for career-building performance opportunities with ENO, around the UK and abroad.
