Coronavirus Lockdown Update 05/11/20
31st October 2020 in News
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement that the England is to go in to a month long lockdown, English National Opera is sorry to announce that our upcoming performances of Mozart’s Requiem and John Adams’s El Niño will no longer be performed to a live audience.
It may be that we can reschedule these performances for next year but we will not know that for a few weeks and so you may wish to take a credit note for the value of your tickets. If not then we are happy to refund your ticket value.
Everyone at ENO was looking forward to live performance returning to our home, the London Coliseum, and we are sorry not to be able to share this moment with you just yet. We are however delighted to announce that BBC Two will broadcast a specially recorded performance of Requiem from the London Coliseum on Saturday 14 November at 19.00.
We will announce further details of live performances soon as we are able to do so. In the meantime, we hope you all stay safe.
Everyone at ENO thanks you for your continued support.
