English National Opera is presenting Mozart’s The Magic Flute in April 2019 and we are seeking six boys – all trebles with unbroken voices – to play the roles of the Boys in this production.

• Rehearsals: from 1 February 2019
• Performances: 14 March – 11 April 2019

Rehearsal sessions last three hours and there will generally only be one session in any day although this is subject to a few exceptions.

The schedule aims to rehearse outside of school hours as much as possible, however some time off school will be required and the school’s permission is needed in order for any child to take part.

If you are interested in auditioning, you should prepare one piece with piano accompaniment of your own choosing, and one vocal line from the opera that is most suited to your voice, which will be sent with the application form.
