ENO Breathe Match Campaign 2025

The campaign raised an extraordinary £41,093, with £36,678 in online donations and £4,435 in offline gifts from ENO’s wonderful community of supporters. Not only did this exceed the original £30,000 target but it has unlocked vital funding that will enable ENO Breathe to expand its life-changing work helping even more people struggling with breathlessness and anxiety.

ENO are especially thrilled that 69% of donors to this campaign are first-time supporters of ENO Breathe. This incredible show of new support reflects the growing recognition of the programme’s impact and the shared commitment to helping those affected by respiratory conditions.

Expanding the impact of ENO Breathe

ENO Breathe, developed by ENO in collaboration with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, is an award-winning evidence-based programme designed to support those experiencing breathlessness associated with long COVID. Now expanded to 89 NHS Partners nationally, the programme has to date helped more than 4,000 people with long COVID across England.

By combining gentle breathing techniques with the calming power of singing, ENO Breathe helps participants manage breathlessness, reduce anxiety, and regain confidence in their breathing.

ENO Breathe will now be able to:

• Expand access in Greater Manchester and nationally – reaching even more people in need of support.
• Pilot and develop new adaptations of the programme – specifically tailored for individuals with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma, and other respiratory conditions.
• Ensure the sustainability of this groundbreaking work – integrating ENO Breathe more widely alongside standard respiratory care.

With this funding, ENO Breathe can continue to transform lives by helping more people breathe more easily, feel more in control, and improve their overall quality of life.
