For over four decades, Jonathan Miller’s stagings have been at the heart of ENO’s work. From his insightful The Marriage of Figaro in 1978, to his charming and witty The Elixir of Love in 2010, Jonathan Miller provided ENO with fifteen productions, many of them becoming staples of our repertoire.

His forty year contribution to the success of ENO was immense, and his productions are loved by audiences of all ages.

His productions for ENO were The Marriage of Figaro, The Turn of the Screw, Arabella, Otello, Rigoletto, Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, The Mikado, Tosca, The Barber of Seville, Carmen, La traviata, La bohème, Der Rosenkavalier and The Elixir of Love.

Jonathan Miller will be deeply missed by all who knew and worked with him.
