ENO Gala 2023

ENO Gala 2023

We had great success at this year’s ENO Gala hosted by The Savoy on Monday 17 April.

Our guests were captivated by a performance of world-class opera from the full ENO Chorus and Orchestra who were superbly conducted by ENO Mackerras Fellow Olivia Clarke, and Head of Music, Martin Fitzpatrick. Our Creative in Residence, Kieron Rennie, gave one of his powerful spoken word pieces to open the evening. We were also joined by current and future stars of the opera world who gave an enchanting performance to our guests. Gwyn Hughes Jones and Roderick Williams showed us why they are world-renowned for their talents, John Savournin performed Gilbert and Sullivan in a way no other singer can match, and Ellie Neate and Patrick Keefe showed us their promise as the future of British talent.

The evening would not have been the success it was without you, our supporters. Whether you were able to attend in person, or bid or pledged from afar, your support is crucial to us – not only to events like last night, but to everything we do at ENO.

We are so pleased to let you know that through the Silent and Live Auctions, Pledges and ticket sales we raised £170,000. We are so grateful of the generosity you showed last night and every penny we raised will all go directly to support ENO Engage, our learning and participation programme. On behalf of everyone at ENO, thank you. We really could not do it without you.
